cell phone! My old kind Nokia 6101 can no longer meet my needs. And it is covered with multiple scratches, since I used to carry it in my jeans pocket from which it used to fall out.
I'm tired of browsing the web, really. It is not easy to find the phone of your dream which does not cost my monthly salary. I want a slider, with a camera and good memory, also with mp3 and something intriguing.. I don't know what... Probably, some of you can make a suggestion of a good Nokia phone?

It is April already and I still don't know what my credit score is like. There are a lot of sites that cater for credit reports online, and my aim today was to find the one which could give me reliable information and the reports itself as well. After a bit of googling, I came across a web-site that looks unpretentous, but contains a lot of valuable information. Ah, it's called unioncreditreports.com - I ordered my credit report and credit score from this site already.
I still doubt whether it can make any good to order some books about frugal living from this site. the articles are useful, but not for me, as I keep spending beyond my means...
Hope you are wiser with money!

I Am Legend (Post III)
I read the book this weekend! Well, and it impressed me more than i expected, in fact. Another thing to be mentioned is the second title of the book - The Omega Man, having the meaning "the last man" - very conceptual, isn't it?
Now, some words about the content and the message of the book. The story unflods in the 70s of the 20th century (the book was written in 1953, by the way). An unknown virus was spread rapidly and turned the people into vampires. Well, I think there is no need to retell the plot, as any of you can read the novel by yourself (it is quite short, by the way). What really needs mentioning is the idea being expressed by the author: the norm is defined by the majority, and Nevill, being the last healthy man on the Earth was not normal. He used to kill the infected, family by family, in the daylight, and after dawn they found their friends, relatives and children dead and these were painful losses for them, just like it could be for any human beings.
That's why the ill were afraid of him, hated him and caught him finally to put him to death, as there was no place for Robert Nevill in the future state of the infected people.
Was it a bit of intrigue? Then read the book, it's worth it!

Spring is about to come finally!
Well, although it is march already, it is still cool. There is nothing quite new in my life. Ah, there is! I've got a pet parrot at home and it is oh so cute! Now I know that birds have tongues and they can lick! (my cutie is fond of licking water from the floor of the cage). Lyrical digression, you see.
My life now is something uncertain: I'm searching for a new work, I'm thinking over a mortgage and I'm about to go studying, but don't know what so far. The only things that cheer me up is my little parrot and my family, so everything is not so good, as you see.
Now I can't spend much money, as everyday there is a risk of losing job for an indefinite period.
Wish me luck, so that I could put my life in order as soon as possible.

Browsing the Web
I browse the web in the search of some useful personal finance information... I'm jsu very surprised at the fact that most info is NOT FREE! They want you to pay money for knowledge, otherwise you will be provided with heaps of spam! However, I found a number of sources which are worth attention... At one of the sites I enjoyed reading credit card education section with comprehensible information FOR FREE!!! Will keep on watching the updates there...

I Am Legend (Post II)
Another post about the film)))
I found out that there is a book upon which the film was shot. Now I'm going to read one, as there will be plenty of time for this next week. I probably liked the idea immensely, or it is just an influence of mass media???

Some new stuff about finance)))
There was a program on TV about innovations in mass services.. And one of the messages was about taxi drivers being paid and tipped. they said very soon there will be terminals in each cab and we'll be able to use credit card in taxi to pay for the ride. I guess, taxi drivers are not happy to hear that, since people will pay less tips and everything will be under more control..

Better late than never..

I have just watched 'I Am Legend'... I know you all saw it in summer))) I liked the film! The first good film with Will Smith, indeed. All the monsters and the ruined New York were in no comparison to the play work of Will Smith. He was really convincing! And that cute dog...
Ironically, I have just heard about a new treatment for flu, without any injections... Hmm... I'm scared))

Alarming News
Oh, I haven't been posting anything for ages!!! Now I'm here again to go on discussing things that make me anxious. The latest report that really made me anxious is the analysis of the recession in the US economy. It is common knowledge now that one of the main reasons for it is unrestricted crediting of cosnumers with bad credit. As a consequence, they couldn't pay back their credit. But, good news for those with positive score: Federal Reserve lowers the interest rates! All the details of the issue can be found in the article Financial Crisis And Credit Cards at one of the reputable financial web-sources.
